ALL OF THE PARTS FROM THIS SCOOTER HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THE FRAME AND WILL BE LISTED ON EBAY. IF YOU DON'T SEE WHAT YOU NEED IN MY OTHER AUCTIONS JUST LET ME KNOW WHAT PART YOU NEED.
PLEASE NOTE: The serial number tag reads July 2001, so I assume it's a 2001 model year. (See Picture)
This listing is for a used OEM original equipment RIGHT FRONT BRAKE HANDLE / LEVER ASSEMBLY WITH THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR from a 2001 Kymco People Scooter.
This controls the front brake caliper using a hydraulic brake hose. (Not included)
I will have the front brake hose and front brake caliper available in my other auctions.
The brake lever moves freely and pushes the brake light switch plunger in and out as it should.
It has a built in brake light switch that's activated when the brake handle is pressed. I tested the hydraulics while it was still on the scooter and it activated the front brake caliper and closed the brakes as it should. I tested the built in brake light switch with a meter and it worked as it should. The switch was "OPEN" when the brake handle was out and the switch was "CLOSED" when the brake handle was pulled in.
It was almost always garage kept so most of the parts are in great condition.
It only had 828 kilometers on it (only 515 miles) so all of the parts should have lots of life left in them.
It comes as pictured with the bolt and two brass washers that seal around the hydraulic brake cable and the two bolts that secure it to the handlebars.
The overall length of the handle with the reservoir is 10-1/2 inches.
It has the two 8-1/4 inch wires to connect it to your wiring harness.
The part number on the handle itself is 4481.
The part number on the fluid reservoir is F405 KYMCO.
