Beautifully constructed, heavy Art Nouveau style lady fur clip. Silver tone face with flowing gold tone hair. Accented with sparkly red and clear rhinestones. Nice tight clip. This piece is shown on page 88 of American Costume Jewelry by the Brunialtis. It is a costume jewelry version of a platinum, 14K gold, diamond and ruby piece by Black, Starr and Gorham Company, as advertised in Vogue magazine on October 1, 1941. Pin measures 3 inches by 1 7/8 inches. Excellent condition. An exceptional figural fur clip!
