Corvette 1965-1966 Original Spare Wheel Rim Tire 15x5.5 General Jet Air J17137

Description

I got this from an owner of an original 1966 corvette. He claims this is the original spare that was in his tire tub that he had removed decades ago. I think it’s safe to say the steel 15x5.5 rim is perfect and appears to be wearing its original paint. The tire is a 7.75-15 with a white wall and still has some tread left, it’s soft with no dry cracking that I can see. It was holding air until I tried to put more in it and broke the valve stem.
