    Description

    You're bidding on an antique cast iron louvered heating grate - bottom marked manufactured by Tuttle & Bailey with an 1885 patent date - top side dimensions are 16" X 12" - bottom fitted for a 14" X 10" hole. Nice, ornate lattice-type Victorian period design to the grate - louvers are in good working order. Note that this is a salvage piece - some original black paint present but chippy, with overall rust patina - overall decent condition, but will require a bit of cleanup. Solid and heavy at 14 lbs.
