3/16” Dyneema Soft Shackles, Breaking Strength 11,000lbs

For sale is a pair of 3/16” Dyneema Soft Shackles, Breaking Strength 11,000lbs, with a four inch diameter eye. These are made with Amsteel Blue SK75 dyneema, in the two strand button knot style developed by Brion Toss and the guys from l-36.com. Extensive testing puts the breaking strength of these shackles at 220% of the line strength used to tie them, which means these shackles should break at just over 11,000lbs of force. This method is much stronger than the shackle style usually tied, which requires larger diameter (and ultimately heavier) rope to achieve the same breaking strengths as the style that I tie.
