Description
Handsome fold-out 1959 Shelburne Museum brochure with a bird's-eye-view map, printed more than 61 years ago.A number key on the map locates exhibits and points of interest on the musuem grounds, which at the time covered 30 acres, with 16 buildings.
The front-cover artwork includes the covered bridge, which was then the museum entrance, and the
S.S. Ticonderoga,
a restored 220-foot side-wheel steamboat, built in Shelburne in 1906.
This brochure opens to 8¾" x 23" and has a locator road map on the back cover.
Condition:
It is in very good condition, bright and clean, with
no
