    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1959 Shelburne Museum brochure with a bird's-eye-view map, printed more than 61 years ago.
    A number key on the map locates exhibits and points of interest on the musuem grounds, which at the time covered 30 acres, with 16 buildings.
    The front-cover artwork includes the covered bridge, which was then the museum entrance, and the
    S.S. Ticonderoga,
    a restored 220-foot side-wheel steamboat, built in Shelburne in 1906.
    This brochure opens to 8¾" x 23" and has a locator road map on the back cover.
